[SMM Lithium Carbonate Futures Review: LC2505 Most-Traded Contract Rose by 1.03%] On January 17, the LC2505 most-traded lithium carbonate futures contract rose by 1.03%. According to the data, the contract opened at 80,500 yuan/mt and closed at 80,740 yuan/mt. The trading volume was 235,115 lots, and the open interest reached 244,609 lots, an increase of 7,309 lots compared to the previous trading day.

【SMM Lithium Carbonate Market Commentary: LC2505 Most-Traded Contract Rose 1.03%】 On January 17, the lithium carbonate 2505 most-traded contract rose 1.03%. According to the data, the lithium carbonate 2505 most-traded contract opened at 80,500 yuan/mt and closed at 80,740 yuan/mt, with a trading volume of 235,115 lots and an open interest of 244,609 lots, an increase of 7,309 lots compared to the previous trading day. SMM battery-grade lithium carbonate spot prices for the day were 77,000—78,700 yuan/mt, with an average price of 77,850 yuan/mt, showing a slight rise compared to the previous working day. From the trend, lithium carbonate prices opened high on the day and fluctuated at high levels from the opening to the close, with a slight drop near the close, ultimately closing up 1.03%.
